Pre Electrolysis: Preparing for your treatment

48 hours before appointment: 

•Avoid UV exposure on the area that will be treated.


24 hours before appointment: 

•Hydrate 💧 (very important)

•Do not take medication containing aspirin. 

•Gently exfoliate the area being treated and moisturize. 

•Armpits: avoid anti-sudorific products. 


Day of appointment:

•Hydrate well morning of your appointment. 💧(very important)

•Avoid caffeine the morning of.

•Bikini: Wear a loose breathable material such as cotton.

•Armpits: do not apply deodorant the day of your appointment.

Post Electrolysis: Aftercare

Here are helpful tips for post treatment:

• The 72 Hour Rule

• Do not touch or scratch the treated area

• Avoid any friction

• During the first 72 hours apply a calming and antiseptic product to sensitive areas or areas susceptible to infection

• Avoid greasy and perfumed alcohol based products.

• Apply a cold water compress/ ice if necessary (you could use witch hazel the anti stringent)

• Avoid hot showers/baths/saunas

• Avoid unnecessary UV exposure

• Apply sunscreen (min SPF 30) 72 hours after

• Avoid intense cardiovascular activity

Possible skin reactions:

•redness

•mild tissue swelling

•bruising

•sensation of warmth or slight tingling

These reactions are completely normal and will go away with time.
